Sims take group plates out instead single left over serving

@janafwalker Is the issue that your Sims isn't automotically choosing leftovers or that they're not choosing leftovers even when you tell them to?

No mine is they take every serving back out. Not just a single one. Then also I have to manually actually put in all leftovers to begin with anyway. They won’t do that nor take just a single one out. It’s every serving available. And then won’t take a plate of it to eat it 

I only have mccc and far as I know it’s updated 

I did but that still doesn’t fix the refrigerator problem. They just won’t eat leftovers or put them in 

Have you tried repairing the game?

Try buying a new refrigerator

@janafwalker Are you getting routing failures when trying to eat ? Have you tried cleaning out all the left overs you have in the fridge and test with new ones ?

 I did. The leftovers of course stayed but my sims still take out the whole group plate instead of just one serving. They put it on the table. I tell them to take a serving then it looks like they did but it’s another group serving instead 

To be sure, you're using the get leftovers option on the fridge ?

If so, 

Try the following

• Close the game
• Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
• Repair the game
• Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry
• Start a new save game
• Check if you still have the error
• Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.
