Sims unable to carry out interactions with other sims and pets?

When playing my selected sim cannot interact with other sims inside or outside of the household. The menu will appear and it will let me choose an interaction, but when my sim gets to the point where they carry out the interaction they reset. This also happens when attempting to interact with pets as well.

    Hi Musically_Mad​ 

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    • Delete the ones you have
    • Trigger the error again
    • Check if new ones are created
    • If that is the case, please copy/paste the content here. You can open the file with any text editor.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Posting the info is meant for troubleshooting.
