Sims using desks with computers on them

Hi! I'm not sure if this could be classified as a bug or not, so I wanted to check with others first.

If I tell my sims to do homework or to eat, they will default to the desks with computers/laptops on them, and eat/write through the computers. I've tried seating them at a table first and then having them do what I've asked, but they will cancel the sitting action and walk over to the desks before doing said action. It's not game breaking, I know. But it does break the immersion a little when they're doing something that wouldn't physically be possible.

Should I go ahead and report this? Or is anyone else having the same issue? Thanks!

    @Figzy97 That's odd. I currently have two separate desks in my current home, with computers on them, and this does not happen to me.

    @Figzy97 Mine like to sit anywhere but the table, or just stand to eat, they often sit on the floor to do homework. I set the table to get them to eat there.

    One question, does this happen if there is a pet or household member in that room already? Because mine will often go to whichever room is already occupied and sit near their pet/family member. I've known them go up to a bedroom to sit and eat, read, etc if someone is there. They often sit at the edge of a pool if someone is outside. It's like they will sit anywhere to be near someone... bless their hearts!

    In a single Sim household they just sit somewhere more sensible or stand. I have to even tell them to sit down to read a book! It's infuriating.
