Sims Won't Stay Asleep in Double Bed

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Every expansion pack, every game pack except Batuu and Spa Day, every stuff pack except Fitness, Bowling, and Patio, and the following kits: Nursery, Artist Studio, Castle, Modern Luxe, Book, Grunge, Greenhouse, Everyday Clutter, Desert Luxe, First Fits, Campers, Blooming Rooms, Fashion Street, Country Kitchen
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Tell a sim to sleep in a double bed
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim wakes up pretty quickly.
What do you expect to see? The sim to sleep until they are rested
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Lots of changes--downloaded the big game update for Life and Death, preordered the expansion pack, and bought the Halloween bundle (Spooky Stuff Pack, Vampires, Werewolves)

I've tried so many things.  I've changed beds, I've improved the relationships of sims sharing the bed, I've reset sims, I've repaired my game, and nothing works.  It happens when sims sleep alone and sims sleep together.  It happens if the bed is assigned to them or someone else.  The only way I've gotten them to sleep through the night is if they're cuddling, and I'm not even sure how to get that menu option regularly.  .

  • @invaderzim8 Could you post a picture of your bedroom setup.

There is an issue where one gets up when you send the other to bed but then it usually works if you send them to bed again. I take it that doesn't work for you either ?

Have you tested multiple households too ?

The only potential noisemaker (the new grim speaker) was broken, so it couldn't have been making noise.  I'm going to experiment a bit tomorrow

  • I'm experiencing the same issue, there are no objects making noise in the room. Have also confirmed that my sim can't stay asleep to nap on couches, either.

Could you try the following scenarios for testing

    1. Test the same Sims in another house
    2. Test other Sims in the same lot
    3. Test the same sims/house in another save game.

Let me know what the results are.

This is to narrow down if it's a general issue (happens with all), an issue with the Sims (happens to that couple everywhere), an issue with the lot (happens to all Sims but only this lot).
  • I ended up moving the entire family to a new lot and things are working fine on my new lot.  Not sure what the problem was.

  • Had the same issue, once it was a radio on, and noticed also that if their hygiene is low they will not sleep.
