Sims Won't Stay Asleep in Double Bed

It happened to me but I fixed it. In my case, I used the cheat menu to add a Sim to my family (shift left click add to family). I noticed that I couldn't do regular things with stuff in their inventory, along with the double bed bug. In order to fix the issue, I had to use the cheat menu to remove them and then talk to them and add them to household through conversing. I then traveled to a different location with that person and returned back to reset bugs and it worked.

It was weird because it was my Sim's soulmate and they lived together in the past (before a kid came and I split the household...). I had to get rich and the kid was annoying. After getting rich and moving to a mansion I moved her back in along with the 3 kids (from her and 2 other sims). It all worked out in the end, and all the kids ended up having good skills/personalities which was surprising. Now there's time to raise the youngest who is a toddler.
