sims4 city living and pets glitch

My pet has somehow got stuck in the floor below my character's as I was taking it back to the apartment and now if I click to have the camera go to it, it shows the top of the wall for the apartment below. Now its an adult and I tried to call it over but doesn't seem to work. My character can, by itself, go and interact with it but I just don't know how to get this glitch fixed...

    just go to another lot and select pet when traveling, you can also call them with the call command when you get there, now once the cat is there have the cat come with you when you travel back this way they are less likely to get stuck in the building.
