Singer/musician career, concerts and fame

So all of these exist seperately. There's a musician career in the jobs, your sim will go to work and will eventually be able to write songs on piano, violin and guitar (which takes ages, but that's another topic). The career is off world and you can't "play" it.

You can have your sims sing in City Living, but only Karaoke. It is nice that the Karaoke songs can also be sung a capella or along with playing guitar or piano, but there's no career connected to it and you can't give concerts.

Then you have the fame in Get Famous. I don't own that pack as I'm not interested in playing an actor.

I truly wonder why you can't become a Popstar or classical pianist or Rockstar or Jazz Singer as a career and become famous. I truly want to have my sims give concerts. It could be handled a bit like in the Dine Out, where sims register at the entrance, and instead of being assigned to a table, they would be assigned to a seat in the concert room. Of course they can get up, walk around, chat, pee and do whatever strange things they do, just like in a restaurant, but they will still be somehow connected with their seat and return there eventually until the concert is over.

And our sim could perform, either with playback (like Karaoke) or with piano or guitar, or it could be a classical concert with formal attire, or a jazz event, whatever you choose.

I would so much like to build concert halls (yes there won't be more than 15-20 people in the audience but anyway it would be fun) with nice stages in all kinds of styles, and have my sims give concerts there, and maybe even have them get famous.

I really really wonder why EA hasn't created something like that.
