Singing In The Shower Audio Missing?

Choosing singing in the shower works and it shows the singing skill progress bar but there's no singing going on.  Has anyone else noticed silent singing, showering sims or is it just my game? 

Also noticed that all my sims are showering in their underwear, but this seems to be a reported bug already. Not sure if related.
