Skin Details Not Working After Recent Update

GUYS!!! I FIGURED IT OUT!! MY DETAILS WOULDN'T MOVE OVER FOR EACH OUTFIT AND I WASN'T ABLE TO CONNECT TO THE GALLERY!!! HERES WHAT YOU NEED TO DO!!!!

FOR MACS!!!

-QUIT YOUR GAME
-GO INTO YOUR "FINDER"
-GO TO "DOCUMENTS"
-GO TO YOUR "EA" FOLDER
-LOCATE YOUR "SIMS 4" FOLDER
-REMOVE YOUR "SIMS 4" FOLDER AND PUT IN ON YOUR DESKTOP
-OPEN SIMS 4 (IT WILL CREATE A WHOLE NEW GAME FILE FOR YOU)
-MOVE OVER YOUR "SAVED", "TRAY", "MODS" FILES INTO YOUR NEW "SIMS 4" FOLDER (IF YOU HAVE ANY MOD MUSIC OR OTHER CUSTOM CONTENT THEN MOVE THOES OVER)
-MAKE SURE YOU DELETE THE FILES IN THE NEW SIMS4 FOLDER TO MAKE ROOM FOR YOUR OLD ONES!


FOR PC

OMG This did it! I play Sims 4 on a Mac and this actually solved the problem were skin detail don't stay on all outfits.

I tried this but it didn't work for me sadly :( x really hope it's fixed soon , it's so tiresome !

I believe there is a fix for this glitch on Mac coming in the update coming soon.

I feel like I updated all my mods and even checked them all with my mods checker, and my sims are still showing up in game without the cc hair, skin, skin details, and clothes I've downloaded and applied to them. There's some of my sims that are just plain showing up pitch black, only able to see their eyes. I've repaired my game and everything. I don't know what to do. Anyone else experiencing something similar or know how to fix it?! (this is after the September 5th patch update)

Default means *replaces original content*

For example, if you have 3 different sets of default eyes, you may only place one in the game at a time for them to work.

Do not run Sims 4 Studio batch fixes on Default CC files, they will no longer work.

I just had the updated patch downloaded for the 10th of June. It ruined everything. 90% of my sims skin (custom and default) don't show up. It's red, white with question marks. I can't edit the body or clothing in CAS only face details. I tried restarting and removing ALL my mods, and still this problem persisted. Oddly enough, some townies aren't affected by it. I've tried to see which items affected the others but it just seems to be a conflict with the new patch (That I didn't even need)
I have no idea where to go from here other than waiting for EA to come up with another patch that could fix this (and muck up other features)

I just wanted to play my sims I paid for.
Why EA... why?

One more thing I forgot to mention. EA's own icons for their sim packs and CAS traits aren't showing up either. Not even the districts' icons or town icons. Does any one else have this problem?
