Some actions missing when interacting with the Grim Reaper Technical Help

Ive searched EVERYWHERE for someone even talking about this post life&death expansion but i cant find anything.

Grim doesn't show up in my contacts despite having their number and being in a relationship with them. This makes it impossible to invite them to any lot and WORSE I can't ask them on a date ToT I could live with not being able to call them but the "ask on date" option doesn't appear in the regular menu either. It looks like I can do EVERYTHING with grim but:

1.Invite them to events or any kind of activity that requires you to select sims through the pop up menu. (Example: Grim doesnt show up as an option to play cards, watch a movie with, or swing. They're missing from the selection even if they are on the same lot. This includes trying to travel to another lot with other sims)

2. Ask on date. All other romantic options look like they're available. I DID notice that I never saw the option to ask them to be my girl/boyfriend either but im unsure if this was just relocated to the new relationship tab and renamed since I WAS able to ask them to be romantic partners.

I also tried looking for mod fixes for this but also came up short since anything I found was before the latest expansion for when grim wasn't able to be romanced without cheats.

I AM using mods but most are visual. I'll list any game changing mods below. BUT im ONLY experiencing this issue with the grim reaper

and quiet a lot of LittleMsSim's mods but they were all up to date for the new expansion. I can list all of them if really needed tho.
