Sparkles and Twirling Leaves on my Harvestables

So.. today, after the patch/update, I noticed some oddities. Now there are pixies! That's ok. I don't mind spending time shooing them off... 

But my perfect garden (thanks to my Fairy enchanting them all) now has these pretty sparklies and twirling leaves around certain, not all, plants. After awhile, the sparklies and leaves MOVE to other plants. 

I don't know if this is just a pretty effect or a bug or something important about the plants... They're all EVOLVED to PERFECT so there shouldn't be any of that kind of sparklies. 

I've left my lot and returned and I've also left the game and returned. I suspect strongly that it's deliberate.

Does anyone know? 

Yes, I can play the game and interact with the plants.
