Spawned body outlines?

I just went into Oasis Springs and took a screenshot of that home('Springscape') and this is what I see. So your home does not look like this I assume?

Can you share a screenshot of how yours looks? Is it the one that came with the game on that lot or did you download it from the gallery? Also, do you have Mods or CC in your game?

Have you ever played the Detective career in your game with any of your Sims? I haven't played that career myself, but I have helped a player(s) before that found several marking oddities (black smudges, black footprints, etc.)to a lot(s) and it turned out it was a crime scene that had not been cleaned up properly. I'm wondering if this is the case with the markings you mentioned, though I'm not sure if those specific markings can be part of a crime scene or not. If this was the case I'm wondering if when you re-entered the lot in live mode with a Sim that the lot clean-up was triggered by the game? https://sims4.crinrict.com/eng/2015/07/crime-scene-is-not-being-cleaned-up/

Smashed dollhouses can happen by an angry child smashing them or a 'child hating' adult Sim smashing the dollhouse, but it wouldn't surprise me if that could have been a crime scene feature also?

It may help to mention, also, I've noticed that a Sim household living in a lot that hasn't been played by you seems to lay there actually as-is until you visit is with a Sim or until you play the household that is 'living' in it. That may explain some of what you saw also. But... I'm not sure if there are any Mods that can change that.

  • It is the lot that came with the game and i didnt take pictures of it with the 'crime scene' stuff...I don't use mods (never have) but i did play the detective career. It did not really look like it would be a crime scene form that career because there where multiple body outlines and also those black gnome stickers i have not seen on a crime scene yet, but the link you added with your post does make sense! because when i visited with a sim it was al gone. thanks!

@JyntheSpitters and @SheriGR The house 'spring scape' you both mentioned is often used as a crime scene in the gameplay of the EP Get to Work. It is one of the many houses you can visit when following the detective career. As soon as you start using it for a family/household these traces of the crime scene will disappear again. When you have the EP Cats and Dogs you will also find the same traces in Domus Familiaris) the lot just across the 40 x 40 tile lot in the left in Brindleton.

So it is not mod related. @JyntheSpitters I think you will only see these markings when you also have the EP Get to Work. And as you stated you did play the detective career. When you reach a certain level in this career you will have to take pictures of the crime scene and you will find a lot more of these markings.

    Have fun playing. 😉
