Couple of questions.
Is this the first time you have played the story? The story plays a little different if you have completed it once in a single save as it does not completely reset for some things.
If you have played it through at least once, did you revive the mother plant and reset the weirdness level?
At what point in the story are you blocked?
This is the first time playing the story fully, and I’ve been blocked after the first chapter.
I’ve got the hazard suit completed and can unlock the second security door but after that point all hallway’s are blocked by a door.
Not sure what I’ve done, haven’t opened any other saved games or downloaded anything from the gallery?
@Vaughanieee Ok. If you've unlocked the second security door, you need to go down the stairs to the 3rd basement level and unlock the door to the mother plant's room. When that door unlocks and you can see the mother plant, then the milestone to proceed to the lowest level should complete and you can proceed with the story.
The third basement is where I meet the problem, instead of being able to walk through the lab with the several plants it to the 3rd door the corridor leading up to it is blocked by a door that can’t be opened.
I’m pretty sure there’s no way to reverse this as I’ve tried starting the story again with the same sim but all doorways are replaced with ones that can’t be opened still.
@Vaughanieee Don't you get the Use Keycard option when you click on the door?
Down the stairs and through the room with the plants in display cabinets. Also a laptop that you can use is on one end. Near where you enter the room is a chemistry analyzer. At one end there is a corridor with a security door that should give you an option to the use the keycard. That is one where the mother plant is behind.
I will have to start my game to check but I don't recall any other doors on the 3rd level.
