Teenagers aging up without traits and character values

I’m starting to go crazy because I haven’t been able to play my game since oct-nov because my soon to be young adult sim is aging up without any extra trait and all the character values I’ve been working hard to get. I don’t know how to fix this problem and I don’t want to play until it’s fixed because I really want her to get all the character values since I’ve been working hard for her to reach them all. I’ve seen some people saying you can fix this with a cas.fulledit cheat but it doesn’t work for me I can change the traits I already have but I can not add traits and I can  absolutely not change or even see characters values in cas to add or change them🙁 Help a desperate girl out please 🙏🏼
