Terrain paint issues

Is anyone having issues with painting the terrain on the New Harbor Park lot in the new Businesses & Hobbies expansion?  No matter what I try, I can't get it to work.

No, sorry.  I just can't get terrain paint to work at all.  Nothing happens when I click on any square.  I've tried just clicking, clicking and dragging, shift click and drag, and I've tried with and without testingcheats enabled but nothing seems to help.  I've also tried performing a repair on all the packs hoping that would help, but sadly, no.

  • Perhaps try saving the lot to your library, then bulldoze the lot. Then place the lot from your library back into the game, and see if the issue remains.

Once I added the lot to my library and bulldozed the lot, I was able to see some of the terrain paint I was trying to use.  So I then bulldozed the lot again, re-placed my lot, and was still unable to use terrain paints.  It appears to be just the New Harbor Park lot, because I went to the Konst Modern Museum lot (where there was some grass) and was able to use terrain paint there.  Any suggestions on how to fix this issue so I can finish my lot?  I noticed that all the grass is the "Out to pasture" grass on this lot, if that helps.

When I loaded the lot, there wasn’t the “out to pasture” grass on the lot. Perhaps try starting a new save game and test to see if you have issues with using terrain paint on the New Harbor Park lot in that game.

I used the sledgehammer on the "Out to pasture" grass and was able to see all of my attempts to use terrain paints.  I then erased all the terrain paint and started over.  This solved my problem.  I'm still not quite sure why terrain paint would not work over the "Out to pasture" grass, though.  Still, problem solved.
