The Sims 4: For Rent Build/Buy Mode

Hello fellow Simmers and the EA Sims Team! I recently purchased For Rent, and like many others, I found that build/buy mode is incredibly laggy on rentals. I personally have every pack and a few kits, and I use CC. I have a suggestion to potentially make the lag less debilitating. When going into build mode on a rental you own, it immediately takes you into “Objects By Function” with the “Residential Rental Items” dropdown pulled up. Those items are A LOT for the game to load in at one time. My suggestion is perhaps a way to default it to open to another tab, such as objects by room, or to not have it immediately default to that drop down. If the game doesn’t have to load all of those items in the catalog each time you enter build mode, it should in theory run much smoother. There will still be bugs to work out, but I feel that that simple switch could help a lot. Especially on lower-end computers.
