First off, I hope everyone who celebrates had a happy (and filling) Thanksgiving holiday. We had a packed month in November with plenty to talk about, including an SDX, a free DLC for Sims 4 players, the launch of Shopthesims.com, a Laundry List, base game patch, livestream, and the launch of the For Rent EP!
Before I turn this thing over to @EA_Solaire I wanted to officially announce that the 12 Days of Simsmas is currently loading, so be sure to check back with us here next week when we kick off 2 weeks of challenges, screenshot sharing, present hunting, and maybe even some free swag along the way...

This month's news and announcements:
- On the 14th, a new Sims Delivery Express dropped which included a stunning new curly hairstyle!
- On the 21st, My First Pet Stuff was released for free in the EA app, Origin and Steam stores. You can claim this pack here only for a limited time, so don't miss out!
- The 21st also brought us the launch of The Sims Official Merch Shop! Snag all the official and limited-edition merch, including plushies, pins and all the plumbob apparel you never knew you needed here.
- On the 1st, we got a sneak peek at some gameplay and new features included in For Rent during the Developer Deep Dive Livestream! If you missed the stream, you can rewatch it here.
- And finally, earlier today the newest expansion pack, For Rent, was finally released! Be sure to show off all your fancy new rental units and the beautiful new world of Tomarang with us as you start playing!
Patches and updates:
- On Tuesday, a new patch was released which included a few gameplay updates like sink assignments, and the ability to switch your active household directly from Live Mode! For a full list of everything included with this patch, be sure to read up on the notes here.
Notable threads:
- Speaking of For Rent, our lovely @Bluebellflora @crinrict and @luthienrising have hosted yet another giveaway! 3 lucky winners will be randomly chosen to receive a For Rent code on the platform of their choice, so best of luck to everyone who entered!
- Last month we discussed an adorable hidden interaction between toddlers and werewolves, but did you know there's a secret interaction involving Grim as well? @GiardiniDiMarzo has shared with us that if you have the Paranormal stuff pack, and have earned your Paranormal Investigator License, you'll see a conversation option with Grim to
Ask to join the Association of Soul Reapers. Sadly, Grim will deny your request, but this is still a fun interaction to have with our favorite reaper. I absolutely love reading about all the hidden and obscure interactions you all come across, so be sure to keep sharing them with us as you discover more!

What is your favorite World to play in?
Sulani was the winner at 23%, and as my personal favorite world I definitely agree! With stunning ocean views and beautiful landscapes, there's no surprise this was the winner.
Which size lot is your favorite to build on?
40x30 lots seem to be everyone's preferred size, winning at 32%. As much as I love using the 64x64 lots, this smaller size is just right for a cozy home without having too much unused space leftover.
