There is no Residential option to switch lot type

I am trying to switch a vacation rental to a residential lot. Every time I look this up, everyone says the same thing. Go to Build Mode and hit the "I". Then switch the lot type. I have... and there ...

What world are you in? The residential lot type is not available in designated vacation worlds like Granite Falls or Selvadorada.

    Is there a way to move the lot to another world and then change it, or no?

      You can save the lot to your library and then place it wherever you want.
