troubles attending upcoming events/no calendar

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.50.67.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Get Famous, vampires, holiday celebration pack, grim's ghoulish guitar
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? try to attend event (award ceremony- song written/licensed)
What happens when the bug occurs? can't show up to award ceremony, don't know location. had to scroll back through notifications for time to try to guess when to show up, no location given
What do you expect to see? hope to patch in calendar to base game to allow access to information to attend events as desired/required
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

there is no calendar to view event / location time and date. i've had to google other people's event experiences to guess where to show up (it was not successful, no event happened/no prompts). some people on google say it happens a week after the notification but i cannot confirm this because no calendar exists with my current game packs installed. i find it hard to coordinate and get most from my get famous pack if doesn't work properly as is.

    HI @Trendthrill 

    as you don't have seasons, you should get a notice when it takes place (like an invitation).

    Make sure you play through a whole week on a vanilla game

    I'm moving this to game info for now cause as it sounds like a misunderstanding more than a bug.

    How long have you played ? It's usually on Sundays after 6 pm but if you played less than a full week, the first Sunday might not have an event.
