trying to download mods

This is correct if you're showing us where your user data is and specifically a save.

But you are not in that location in the screenshot you provide. You're in a Documents folder in another location called "Play files".

would you know which files I would have to access - because in the files I've showed, this was the only section which contained documents? would it be Google? 

or Is it the case where I need to make the file myself ?

You already know where to put Mods, in the C:\users\steamuser\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods folder. This is the same Sims 4 folder that your saves folder is in that you listed in your previous post.  "would it be Google?" I don't know what you mean by this. Are you asking where you download Mods from? If so I'e moved out thread to the Mods forum. Have a look at the pinned threads on the main page for further help as there are thousands of sites you can download from depending on what you want to add to your game.

the mods themselves I've already downloaded,  and are in my files. the  problem is how I'm supposed to add them into c\users\steamuser\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\Slot_00000002.save)  because this is in the game, which I can't edit? like I can copy the link to my clipboard, but I can't actually type in it?

maybe I said this wrong.  the (C:\users\steamuser\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves\Slot_00000002.save) isn't in my files anywhere. it's only in the game, in steam. I can't screenshot to show what I mean for some reason but like this isn't anywhere in my files to add. I have the passage sure, but only in the game itself rather than in my files?
