That report seems have been for console.

What platform are you playing on ?

Try the following

  • Close the game
  • Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
  • Repair the game
  • Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry. 
  • Start a new save game
  • Check if you still have the error
  • Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back.

PC. I've already tried that solution, and I've tried repairing. I've done the 50/50 method and even tried removing a mod one by one and checking. I cannot find the mod, and I know that people had the same issue around the time the game released the update I began having problems. Their problems were solved but it remains unresolved for me.

    Does just nothing happen when you click save ?

    Could you maybe post a video/screenshot of what's happening in your game ? There's so many similar issues that sometimes a visual helps.
