Unable To Progress "Blast from the Past" event

I'm on Week 3, "The Setback". Up until this point I have had no problems. I am unable to get "Repair or Replace the Computer" checked off. I used a computer in the library in Willow Creek for the event and was not able to repair it as there was no "repair" button. I left the lot and went to my lot, put a computer down and ensured it was broken (waited for rain, left the computer outside). I repaired that computer. Nothing. I just want to progress the event and get the rewards! Has this happened to anyone else? How do I fix it? My game is completely up to date (PC).
