University final exam bug

I am supriesed it seems no one has posted about this bug here as i have seen many complaints online but i have found that my sims are unable to take thier final exam on the last day as per thier shedule for a uni corse causing them to fail the class. I have tried looking for buttons in thier profile under the classes tab, notifications, clicking on the relevant sim and on laptops and sutch at the sims home as well as having them travel to the relevant location before thier exam and clicking on varous buildings including the location listed to see if i could select an option for attending class/attending the exam and it simply does not show up anywhere. I then did some googling to see if there is a mod/bug/game issue that may be affecting me specifically and tried all the re sets and removing of mods suggested even though i dont tend to play with mods to no avail. As i was looking though the forums it would seem this is a universal issue and there are currently no mod fixes for this problem. If anyone has a fix i would love to hear it as i am so dissapointed i cant play this pack as intended it seems very fun, and if not i would dearly appreaciate a patch/bug fix from EA so the pack is playable again.
