vampire sims become human after saving

I saved a vampire sims family, but when I played with the family they had all become human. Is there any way for me to turn them back into vampires in CAS, without having to get them all bitten? I'd ...

    @dinthe11 You can try if it works if you add the trait with this cheat: traits.equip_trait trait_OccultVampire (enter cheat while Sim you want to turn is active)

    I do not know if there's any side effects so try on a backup of your save first.

@dinthe11 This usually happens if you don't own the pack, or the pack is removed for some reason. What platform are you playing on?

        Yes everything else in the pack works fine, the forgotten hollow place is there, the sims can talk about the existence of vampires and confess fear and stuff. I just think it glitched while saving or something.
