Vet Clinic - Please Help

I bought a vet clinic. I have 3 employees. Im using the one already in the game. I've visited with my sick pet before i bought the clinic.

When i open the business, people show up with their sick pets. The vets i hired WILL NOT treat the animals. When i select the pet, there is no option to treat.  When i select the owner, there is no option to treat. I tried the podium. I've tried the equipment. Nothing is working. 

When i open, there's just a bunch of sick animals throwing up but no one is doing anything.  

Please Help!!
