When I download lots containing items of expansion packs I do not have, the items I do not have are deleted and not replaced. Consequently, walls and floors disappear and I cannot play with the lots. I hope someone can help me. ☹️
I think the problem is the lots have items that are exclusive to the packs you don't own for example before I got the last pack I needed cats and dogs I downloaded a house that used wallpaper and flooring also chairs that were from the cats and dogs doc and because I didn't own them there must not of been anything that was similar to them so I ended up with missing floors walls and furniture I hope this made sense and helps you with your problem.

Yes this is the same problem I am facing! But I expect that the items will be replaced with something else and not removed (even the foundation). So this cannot be fixed?
@Lievevisscher Others agree with you that this does not make sense as a 'by intent' behavior, which is the reason a Bug Report has been filed - to hopefully have it looked into. This is why it would be helpful to have your information and 'Me Too' on the Bug Report - to endorse & validate the issue and its importance to you, and to show additional examples of the issue in your game if helpful and relevant.
