Wedding glitch

Okay, so I'm actually pretty upset right now. I set up a beautiful wedding for my sims in my game file where I'm doing the legacy challenge. Well as soon as my sims kiss their spouse my game gets stuck on pause. The sims keep moving but are just standing idly in place and the clock freezes.

Before you ask, I have removed my mods, restarted the game multiple times, and repaired the game. I also made sure everything was up to date and tried playing a recovered save file. I even made sure my pc drivers were up to date.

After over an hour of failing to successfully complete any wedding event. I gave up and took my sims to the court house. They both walk in then come out just fine. Except the game doesn't register that they got married. 

At this point I'm extremely fed up (I already had all my pictures of the last 6 generations turn black). Now, I'm just hoping that EA can/will fix whatever is broken soon.

    IzzygirlB​ The clock freezing is a mod issue. in my game  it was mccc, I took it out of my mods folder played through where it was freezing then put it back in my mods folder and everything has been fine since. Apparently events can break mods. Just rename your mods folder be careful though if you play with extended lifetime and don't have mccc installed your sims might get aged up like mine, lol.
