Weird Romance!

@KushKylie, yes, Sims will interact with each other within a Save Game, including Sims you play. 😉  So, while some of the relationship going down is due to decay over time, it is also very likely that one or both of your Sims did something or said something that made their relationship go down.  I haven't heard of any bugs regarding this (and couldn't find any).  But there is that possibility too -- however, it is much more likely that your Sims were just being themselves and left to their own devices! 🤨😃  Especially if you don't play with Mods. 

As for a Journal to log their actions, there isn't one in the game.  There might be a Mod out there that can do this, but I don't know since I don't play with Mods.  (Too much upkeep for me!  I'm too lazy! 😳 )  Every time the game gets a patch by EA, the Mod creators have to update their Mods and CC as well, or else it could mess up things in the game.  But if you arent' adverse to a bit of maintenance and patience regarding Mods, you might find something that can keep track of your Sims actions/relationships when you aren't directly playing those Sims. 😉  Glad you could fix their relationship! ❤️

Thanks for replying! It’s amazing, isn’t it? That this game allows them to interact like normal, even when they aren’t in view. 

I was absolutely shocked yesterday when when two sims went off to WooHoo without my direction! It definitely keeps you on your toes. I make it a task now to cycle through my households and make sure everyone’s still happy with each other. 

@KushKylie, I remember when I first got the Sims 4 when it came out and looked in to all the pre-made families, like the Goths, Pancakes, Landgraabs, and the Spencer-Kim-Lewis families.  but I didn't play them at first because I wanted to create my own family and play them first.  Well, by the time I went back to those families that came with the game, a lot of changes had happened! 😮 The elders in the Spencer-Kim-Lewis family had died of old age; Alexander Goth had grown up, and the Pancakes hated each other! ☹️ This really upset me.  So, when that computer died and I had to get a new one, I installed TS4 on it and made each premade family have their own Save Game so I would get a chance to play with them all in the state they arrived in!😇  But I'm a bit more of a control freak.😳  I have a few families I play rotationally, but mostly I just have a bunch of Save Games so each family is in their own little parallel universe! :eahigh_file:

And it is a good practice to check in frequently on all the families you play in a rotational game! 🙂  I hope you are able to keep up with their shenanigans! 😃😉
