What could be causing this glitch? I notice it whenever I try to load into a household. It does not appear on startup or in manage worlds. I am unable to load into households. I think this could be a mods issue. I have cleared my cache and repaired by game.
MKKsousa It might be a mods issue so you should test as rosemow suggests to see if you can find the broken mod or CC item. However, what your game did is usually a sign that the lot you are trying to load into is glitched or corrupt. In recent years the Gallery has had its issues and a lot of lots you get from there are glitched somehow. It's really hit and mess.
To test the lot, try to enter the lot in build mode from the map. If you can enter the lot and everything looks ok, save a copy of the lot to your Library. Then try to enter the lot in live mode. If that works, you should be good otherwise try moving the household out and back in. Then try to enter the lot again. If it doesn't work, the enter the lot again in build from the map and bulldoze the lot then replace it with the copy from your Library and try to enter the lot in Live mode again. You can also download the lot from the Gallery again if that's where you got it originally.
And lastly, if you can enter the lot in build mode from the map and the house is gone and all you have is an empty lot, that is a sign of save corruption. If that happened, you might as well start over in a new save as the corruption will just keep getting worse and eventually make every lot in the game disappear and will probably cause sims to disappear as well.
Before you do anything, make a copy of the save so you have something to fall back on if something goes wrong or you want to keep trying later if nothing you try works.

Try moving the whole mods folder to another place, delete the localthumbcache.package and then test to see if the issue remains without mods/cc there.
