I am in the United Kingdom yeah! So GBP please haha good eye for noticing my spelling!
Also just quickly.... GET OUT MY HEAD! 😏🤪😉 you literally put I think the sameness laptops I bookmarked from a shop near me! I shall share the links and we shall see if they’re the same!
I have like 4 bookmarked I think and it’s literally like the same ones I think I wanted to know which ones are good enough for an ultimate gaming session omg the gaming session of a lifetime where if mics were introduced into the sims would be epic!
Heres all 4 links I have bookmarked!
Maybe I didn’t bookmark them then..... hmm somethings fishy here.... I lied! Oh no I must have thought I bookmarked them and never did! Well good job you sent me the link to the message then!
@SimmeringPassion Among the laptops you listed, I'd cross off all except the third one. The first has weak hardware for Sims 4, specifically its graphics chip could probably only handle medium settings at best. The second and fourth are massive overkill for Sims 4, and the Acer Predator line has some issues that you might not want to deal with. The third would be fine, and I've recommended it and others like it for people with around that budget, but you could do significantly better for even £1,000.
As an example of a laptop that would be perfectly fine, this Asus is £850. Its graphics card, an Nvidia 1660 ti, is around 40% faster than a 1650 for gaming, and it should always be able to run Sims 4 on ultra graphics settings. Its 8 GB RAM is enough for Sims 4, although you might want to add another 8 GB (for around £40) at some point.
This Lenovo is £900 and is very highly rated. Its processor is a bit better for gaming than the one in the Asus above, although either one should be fine; the other specs are the same.

This laptop has a stronger processor than the others and 16 GB RAM; it's £950:

Laptops with the slightly faster Nvidia 2060 start around £1,000, although you don't need the extra speed for Sims 4. You may want it for other games; however, somes games also benefit from a stronger processor, so that could influence your decision. If you're thinking about compiling code in the future, a stronger CPU would also be helpful. That would drive the price up a bit but should still keep it reasonable, for example:

I only checked a couple of sites because I wasn't sure what you wanted, or whether you were shopping now or later. Since prices and inventory change so quickly, it's not really useful to bookmark an item or two and wait to buy it. When you are ready to buy, figure out what matters to you and how much you're willing to pay, and go from there.
And if you have more questions, now or later, please feel free to ask.
