What is "Reset Current Household"?

When exiting CAS, I'm given two options: 1. Exit Create A Sim and 2. Reset Current Household. What happens if I choose #2? I've done a lot of googling and I can't find the answer to this anywhere...

    Hey there @sparilis 

    Reset Current Household will remove your household in CAS and you'll start with a brand new randomized Sim instead of the household you were editing.

    Oh wow... it completely deletes them?

      @sparilis Yes, but you can then cancel instead of saving and it should leave your sims as they were before you opened CAS. 😉
