When I press manage worlds I get a loading screen for hours!

Sometimes when my game gets laggy I will save and it will fix it. But sometimes saving doesn't work so I will go into manage worlds and reload the lot. Since the update before last, I have been getting a loading screen for hours when pressing manage worlds. When I say for hours, I am not exaggerating. I left it loading for about 2 hours once before just force shutting down my laptop. I was hoping that the most recent patch would fix this as there was a fix for loading screen times but it hasn't made a difference. Is there any fix for this? Am I missing something?

    I don’t use the off the grid lot trait. I honestly don’t think it’s anything to do with the lot or the traits as it has happened with different lots with different traits. Thank you though.

    Do you have any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

    Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

    If that is the case, please upload them to a new post in this thread.

    Please either create a .rar file to upload or copy/paste the content into your post.

    Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

    Also to be sure, you're not using mods/cc
