This is happening to me too.crinrict my whole upper left panel is missing — this happened after the most recent update. I checked my mods and that doesn’t seem to be the issue.

By checking your mods you mean you removed them and tested without ?
If not, please test vanilla.
To verify on a vanilla game, move your mods folder to the desktop and delete the following files from your user folder.
- localthumbcache
- Any lastException Files
- Any LastCrash files.Test a backup of your save as you will loose all cc on the save and see if the same error occurs, then report back.

Certain tasks that are supposed to appear in the upper left corner of the screen during live mode such as holiday tasks or hsy tasks don’t appear. It’s the same with or without mods.

Hi Ajroyz34
Try the following
- Close the game
- Rename Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4_Old
- Repair the game
- Start the game. All your content will be gone now as the game created a new folder. All your saves/.. is still in the old folder so not to worry.
- Start a new save game
- Check if you still have the error
- Report back with your results for further steps on how to get your stuff back. - pigeonscrubs7 months agoRising Newcomer
I am having the same issue, removed mods, and nothing seem to change.

pigeonscrubs did you do the factory reset from my post ?
- pigeonscrubs7 months agoRising Newcomer
No, I don’t want to do that before I know how to get all of it back as I’m a legacy player and have a lot to lose if it gets erased

Moving this to gameplay until someone is willing to test vanilla as instructed.
As said, everything is save and instructions on how to put stuff back can be found all over the forum.
I personally stopped giving them right away cause many users have just went on to put everything back without actually testing without.
