When Sims go to University, they lose the house and furniture disappears

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happened when i sent my Sim to University, I chose the option to leave the house with the furniture and not to sell it. When I came back to the house, not only i had to buy it, but it was completely empty!
What happens when the bug occurs? When my Sim goes to University, comes back to an empty house that he has to buy. Unfortunately, I didn't save the house to my gallery, and i spent hours building it. Now I have to do it all over again...
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the house as I left it.

I have custom content in the game, but only hairs, clothes and some objects. I don't have any gameplay mods.
