Why aren't Household biographies extended like the ones in Cottage Living?

@cinderellei Oooooh  okay.  Apologies for misunderstanding.  Yes, it appears there is a limit of 500 characters for the description, yet the Watson family description has 725 characters.  I don't know why anything is added to TS4 that can't be 100% recreated by the players.  It would be nice if the dev team could give us the liberties they have with the game or stick to the rules that are  imposed on us.  I remember wanting to build a Haunted House for the Paranormal pack.  I was going to use some of the items included in the DuPlantier house but the wall plants and lumber piles for the yard aren't actually available in build mode.  Anyway, I'm sorry for the frustration with this.  I don't know if it's something that will change though.  In the meantime, maybe you could try rewriting the background story.  Here's my attempt.  It's not quite the same but it's only 498 characters and I thought it might help give you an idea of how to work around this limitation.

Thomas always knew the estate would be his someday. Now that he has it, he's feeling overwhelmed. His confidence and his family are crumbling. His wife, Rahmi has been drifting away and he recently learned of her affair with another. His eldest, Rashidah, pines for a life outside this sleepy town. While Imran, the youngest, finds security in life at home, the middle-child Maira is constantly looking for new adventure. Will this hectic family come together or fall apart in their “old new” home?
