why is the vet clinic not working?

I brought in a castle (household) cat to the vet. The exam started but then the cat was still sick after expensive treatment. I had my creature keeper sim (new castle member) open a vet clinic and tried to examine the cat. the exam table kept raising and lowering. When I've played with the vet role before I have done much quicker examinations. I know that the cat was sprayed by a skunk and also bitten by a squirrel. the cat is still dazed. but hungry.
