@Kaycee144 I think the lifespan of the animals in Cottage Living will coincide with the lifespan of your Sims. I.e. when you choose short your Sims all the animals around them, this is valid for cats and dogs, will also have a short lifespan. In that case the other animals in Cottage Living will probably have the same lifespan. I think it will have the same effect as with your Sims, when you turn aging off, your Sims will not age anymore (they can still die, but not of old age)
So, when you turn aging of for your animals, they should not age like the information in the pack settings. To have them age manually you would need a mod. The current mods I have seen are not affecting the chickens, cows, or lamas.
