Wishing for a refresh of the pre Brindleton Bay Worlds

If The Sims 4 is going to continue for more years, it would be nice to see the early - pre Brindleton Bay - Worlds given a refresh.  Especially the endlessly repeating rock formations of Oasis Springs. Not sure how that would work. Just wishing. 🙂

  • @DizzyDee-K I'm building in Oasis Springs right now and agree it could use some love. I use a lot of the Jungle Adventure pack there and I'm adding some nicer lots, parks, spas, clubs and that kind of thing. I've done Newcrest and I know that world is deliberately created as it is so that we can put our own stamp on it. With Oasis Springs, my problem with it is that it doesn't have a set identity. I like the houses like Yuma Heights and use that style as my template for the world...but then just over the road you have Nancy's house in a totally contemporary style that clashes with it. That pattern continues throughout the world, with modern lots scattered around that don't really fit. So I find when I add a house I have to edit all the other houses on the street or it all looks mismatched for me. With the surrounding areas we can't edit, I'd add more varied plants and trees and have some plants that are unique to that world. I'd have different playground equipment too that fits in a little better with the surroundings. I'd vary the rock formations more and add some more details, wildlife, etc.

We've had refreshes of households so maybe we could get some base game world refreshes too. But they may want to consult a bit more with players first incase it's not a popular decision. It might be too big a change for the majority of players to get on board with.
