Wont let me put a coat on my sim???

So i am changing my sims outfits when i get to the pajama's, I am dressing my child and i see there is no other full body outfit than a towel, So i just move on, I soon get to the cold weather outfit, I  go into full body, Because i usually like the full body cold weather outfits. I click on that and it says "No result's found, Edit your results to see more." And i'm like "What???" So i click on the shirt, It says the same thing, But there's pants. I don't know if its a bug or my game is broken, But i don't know how to fix it! It's like that on all my children!

  • Can you click on a dresser or clothes drawers and "plan outfit" for the affected sims?

@GalaxyRain07, are you playing on a console or on a PC/Mac?  If you are playing on a PC or Mac, do you happen to play with any Mods or Custom Content (CC)? 🤔  Mods and CC need regular mantainance in order to not cause problems in your game.  If any CC or Mods have become outdated, you will need to find the which Mod or CC item is causing the problem and then replace it with the newest version that works with EA's most recent patch (which was last week).  If the Mods/CC creators have not updated their items, then you will have to remove that item permanantly.  The good news is that most CC/Mods creators update their items regularly! 🙌

Please to all of the following:

) Move the Mods Folder to your desktop

    2) Delete localthumbcache.package file in the game folder.

    3) Fix you game in Origin by logging in and go to Library, then right-click on The Sims 4 and choose the "Repair Game" option from the list.  Wait until Origin finishes repairing all your packs and not just the base game.

    4) Now, when you turn on your game again, it will create a new mods folder that will be empty.  Check to see if your game is now working without mods/CC.

    5) Now you can try adding back items from your Mods folder one at a time checking your game each time to see which item is causing your game to not work properly.  If you have a lot of items, you can try the 50/50 Method.

The CC creators will usually update the CC items and Mods after these updates, so when you find out which one is the culprit, you can get the updated version from whoever made that item of CC in the first place, replacing your old outdated version with the new one.🙂  You should try these steps anytime you have problems in your game to rule out CC/Mods problems.  It is the responsibility of the Mods/CC creators to update their items anytime EA releases a patch/update, and it is the responsibility of the people who use Mods/CC to make sure they are using the most recent version.

If this doesn't fix your problem or if you don't use Mods/CC, then something else might be wrong with your game, but we need to rule out a Mods/CC conflict first! 😉

Please update us on your situation! 😇
