Absolutely!!! Anything that adds more gameplay, CAS, B&B and integrates packs is a BIG WIN for me. In addition, we now have multi-purpose lots.
You can now have Uni type classes. The white board introduced in High School years has a compatible Uni type version. Awesome!!
The Heirloom or Wills function from Life & Death has been updated to allow business to be given to family members. Awesome!!
(I purchase new game additions when they happen and then wait about 2 weeks or so before playing to allow modders to do their updates.)

edit: This game needs all the support with cross combability...this is an old game and I want the team to keep the base Alive!
The more you own in sims 4 is how you gain in gameplay. I got 56 or so addons which makes the newest EP relevant and exciting for my gameplay.
