:|: SPEED 3 - HOW OFTEN DO YOU USE IT? :|:

I see people talk about using Speed 3 all the time while playing the game and it got me to wondering how many people use that function regularly?

I personally almost never, ever use it unless I'm testing something and I need it to be a certain time of day or a certain day of the week. But during gameplay, I don't ever deliberately use it besides speed 3 the game does by default while sims are sleeping.

I used speed 3 in past games, but in TS4 it seems to make simulation lag worse so it’s very rare when I use it.

I would say never, but the fastest speed does get used...when all sims are at work/school or asleep.

Though, I think I did use the second speed a little when I had a household of just one sim.

Almost every time my merfolk sleep in the water. The timer doesn't speed up like it does when they sleep in a bed.

If they do updates for merfolk, it would be an expectation that they make time speed up like it does when sims sleep in a bed.

I play on speed 2 mostly but speed 3 to finish task or sleeping.

Only when my Sims are all sleeping or away at their jobs/school... and even then, sometimes I won't even do that. When I have no Sims to currently play, I sometimes look around my lot to see if there's any improvements I can make on my house, yard, etc. Sometimes I personally just like to look around and admire my hard work as well.

Otherwise, the furthest I'll go is 2x speed.
