I first discovered The Sims franchise when I was a kid. I was given The Sims 1 as a Christmas present for console (PS2). I fell in love with the game and played all of the other Sims games that were available for console at the time, including The Sims 2 (which was even better). It wasn't until years later when I was in high school, I got my first laptop so I was able to finally play The Sims games on the computer (The Sims 2 was my absolute favourite) and the rest goes from there. I've followed the series ever since.
What I love about The Sims franchise is the creativity and being able to live different lives and experience cool new things. I love the idyllic world the sims live in (world peace) and it's a nice escape when life gets stressful.
