90 x 90 lots?
The Sims 2 Pets for console and PSP (bare in mind a PSP is a handheld console from 2004) was able to have 90 x 90 lots, yet we’re up to The Sims 4, and PC gamers have been limited by 64x64 lots whic...

You can combine lots in The Sims 4. For example, that combination you mentioned works perfectly fine in-game.
It’s only lots that require NPC’s that can’t be merged.
The Sims 4 and The Sims 3 seem identical to me interms of combining lots. Place a bar on a lot that isn’t a Late Night lot, and it won’t generate a bartender. Place the Java House stuff on a lot that isn’t a Java Hut and it won’t generate a Barista.
Place Gym equipment in a Library and Sims won’t use Gym equipment over books.
I get really lost when people say they want to be able to combine lots like in TS3. Because my experience with The Sims 3 is that it works like The Sims 4.
The Sims 2 however, had “Community Lots” and that’s it, so all Community Items worked on Community Lots and the NPC’s were coded with the items itself, not with the venues.
You can add a late night bar and workout equipment to other lots. They will work. The bars will generate a bartender, sims will interact with it.
And I thought you were right about the workout equipment, but I had to test it myself. I just stuck a treadmill in the library in Sunset Valley. A sim jumped on it and started running -- so it can happen. It's rather silly, though, to work out at a library.
And I don't think I'd build anything on a 90x90 lot in Sims 4. I'm not averse if they add some that big, though. I think that there are some incredible builders who would do wonders with that much space -- and I'd love to see what they make.
That's actually interesting to know! I had several of those hangout lots from TS store, and no bartenders came to those bars?
The ones that come by default with Store Worlds.
