Also, if you have leftovers in the fridge all you need is an older Sim open the fridge and you can drag any food shown to a counter for the Toddler to partake in.

I've realized realm of magic packs real purpose and it is to cast delicioso in front of my toddlers to feed them
so simple
so efficient
can be done mid other activities
don't even need to choose the food
or be anywhere near the toddler
Truly the best way to make sure the little darlings eat. - catmando8304 years agoSeasoned AceGreat ideas, thanks!
- Harvestables are great for feeding toddlers! They never go bad and the toddlers love them. Only sometimes when the toddler gets up from a bench or chair, all the harvestables fall out of their pockets onto the ground, but that's really cute so I don't mind much.
And yeah I never use high chairs anymore at all. - daFigg4 years agoRising Hotshot

I was trying to use this method, but the option to eat the fruit/vegetable didn't pop up. Is there a trick to feeding the little monsters harvestables? Do you put it on the ground first, or they just eat it from inventory? Is it just some type of fruit they can eat? - @figglene I tend to have them eat it from inventory. Go into the toddler's inventory and click on the harvestable and the Eat option should be there. It might work from the ground too, if you select the toddler and then click on the harvestable.
They can eat all normal garden fruits and vegetables that I've tried so far. Haven't tried cowberry :) - janyses4 years agoSeasoned Ace

@figglene Woah, that's what's happening? I always wondered why fruit ends up on the floor...
@mightysprite Some produce do not have an eat option. Do you remember what type of harvestable it was? - JanuaryGarnet084 years agoSeasoned Ace

Sadly it's a bug that fruit and vegetables get dropped from their inventory, rather than some cute game play. A bug which was supposedly fixed. So much for that.
@catmando830 From March Patch Notes: Toddlers will now eat the food your Sims have prepared for them.
Except they still don't. My twins yesterday grabbed a plate, toddled off to the sofa and sat there doing nothing with the food while their needs dropped to red. Was this the issue you had?
Another supposedly 'fixed' bug.
Some fixes aren’t retroactive. So they will be fixed in a new save but not in an old one you were playing before the patch. - @IceyJ hmm, haven't come across produce they can't eat yet (other than flowers). In the garden, we have apples, pears, plantains, blackberries, cherries, pomegranates, peas, green beans, grapes, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, carrots, onions, spinach, sage, parsley, strawberries. I can't be certain that we have fed all of these to the toddlers, but most of them I think so?
Oh we do have dragonfruits and cowberries but those are cash crops, haven't tried eating those ;) - akaniki4 years agoRising Ace

Did they change the interactions with toddlers? I am finding it extremely hard to feed the thing.
I don't have an answer to your question. Just had to say your wording really made me laugh. Thanks for that :)
