A guide to a successful romancing?

Oh I've always just let the game pretty much decide who he has relations with. Every sim I have ever made for him, there was just zero connection. Heck even with sims I have made just to have as friends. I just always make sure he has the alluring and beguiling traits. I have a few lots that have aura objects in them that I are always enabled or have incense to set the mood. All the restaurants serve the cookies and romance drinks. Shinya always has a fresh pot of steamy ginseng tea and romantic music playing. He also keeps heart shaped cookies, Cupid Juice and Love Potion #4 fully loaded in his fridge. If there is a Sim I want him to meet and they are just not showing up at those lots, I use the teleport any sim mod to bring them there so he can introduce himself.
