He's actually pretty fun to be around. Unlike a lot of Sims, he seems to have more depth. He's nice enough, usually... although he mocks misfortunes. With me, the issue was that the toddler was not mine, it was his. He ignored the toddler begging for food or a bath or whatever, my Sim had todothat- andwas the only workingSim in the family! If I tried to fix the relationship, he would have a tense moodlet for being around a "stranger". He was fine with me, but not the child.

I doubt the kids fear the dark. Vampires ought to be terrified... of the sun!

Doesn't sound like a family guy to me. If what I'm seeing is correct, vlad IV was also Vlad 1 and up. He founded Forgotten Hollow, and still runs it 200 years later.

He never talks about it, but the whole story is in the Ultimate Vampire Tome. He and a group of others apparently found what became the vampire realm... and only one of them came out of it not entirely dead.

Wow, this sounds like a cool story to actually play out.

If you go to his mansion, you will notice a few things- the coffins for the previous Counts, which lie empty as there never was Count Straud 1, 2, or 3; a picture of the sole survivor. I wonder if there are other clues in there somewhere about what happened? Might be worth taking a look around in there.
