- Cauldrons. Who knew spellcasters could be responsible for pollution?
- Making pollution is hard work. I now have three power generators, lots of fire and trash plants. the industrial footprint is going up by 10% then it is suddenly going back to eco direction. Can anyone explain how this works ??
- Peapod79New SpectatorI think the neighbouring lots contribute too, even if you don't control them. Maybe try editing your neighbours and make sure they don't have eco-friendly wallpapers and flooring and stuff like that.
- It seems impossible to get to full industrial footprint. I have 20 power generators in the lot blasting away. I am 10% before the full industrial bar and it stopped there. Has anyone done it without cheat ?? Curious what are the tricks.
- JeanVWSeasoned NewcomerThere seems to be a bit of a problem with the balancing. I think the devs could have done this to prevent it from fluctuating too much (i.e. one day ecological and the other day industrial), but it backfired kinda.
- Peapod79New SpectatorI was curious. I bulldozed the neighbours and evicted them, (maybe not in that order! Haha) just to be sure that their lots weren't influencing the sway of the neighbourhood. I have nothing but industrial on my lot and I keep sending off rockets and still my arrow is pointing towards green and ever slowly moving that way. Is it because I have 6 plants?
I'm not convinced this is properly balanced. *hmm* - I think the eco score is broken. Need a fix. It is way too easy to be green but impossible to achieve industrial level.

I deleted all plants except for trash plants. Still it won’t achieve full industrial level.- I hope it will be fixed unless this intended. Or at least with a mod. I was looking forward to play once in a more dirty world. Sims 4 world are a little bit to clean to me on the long run.
- I tried a few things mentioned above. I changed all eco friendly wallpapers and floor to industial in the whole neighborhood and give the households additional fireplaces, firepits and so on. For now the industrial footprint is raising. Looks like the wallpapers and floors in the neighborhood have an strong impact :) .
