A Question About Aging Sims Up and Down

My sim is a teen and he's in high school right now. Aging and death will be turned off. The plan is to play this sim and manually age him up according to the long life span. When he eventually becomes and elder and retires from his job (and after his elderly wife dies in an "accident"), I'll use cas or mccc cheats to age him back down to infant. Then he'll be raised by one of his children.

Will I be able to go back and get the milestones for these life stages or am I out of luck since he started life as a teen? Does he keep his original traits, including the ones he discovered for himself? This will be a reincarnation challenge in a different save than my normal game because I really do like the sim and don't want to permanently damage him. So the whole aging up and down thing is going to be an ongoing cycle until he unlocks everything in the game.

Has anyone had any experiences aging Elders back down to infant or toddlers in the same save.... multiple times?

  • To get the earlier Milestones, you'd need to cheat them. You can do that by cheating traits (see https://forums.thesims.com/en_US/discussion/900951/hidden-traits) or with this mod from Lumpinou: https://www.patreon.com/posts/80693931
