I know that all vampires stop aging at young adult. But what happens if you turn an elder/adult? Do they stay at that age or do get younger? Sorry if this is obvious, I don't have vampires and I'm cur...

They don't age as well. Only teen and younger vampires age (because who on earth likes to go to school for the rest of their life?).
