I didn't know that this happens on close relationships too. Bradley knew his brother-in-law and his kids since they were babies and helped with them and now he doesn't even know them. C'mon Sims 4, I love this game, but it's just not okay. :/
It still happens, I even had my sims introduce himself again to his childhood best friends months ago.
